What is involved in signing up for Ehrharts Service?

Fees and Costs There are no hidden fees or costs in Ehrhart bills. You will not be charged any fee for application, there is no connection fee. We do not charge for our tanks or regulators. The appliances and all lines are your property, though we can order and install any propane appliance for you. We offer the first hour of labor, and the first 30 feet of copper line for free for new customers.

Most residential customers choose to become a "residential bulk" customer, because the price per gallon is lowest. These customers will be billed for their initial fill of propane, which can be quite high. We can work with customers to spread payments out over time. The hidden benefit in this is that you will own the gas in the tank. If you move out, we will credit you for the gas and either write a check or apply the credit toward a future account.

Application - We will first process your application, which includes reveiwing your needs, determining your billing schedule, and running a credit check. Then we will schedule a time convenient for you to install our tank.

Installation - We will schedule a time to come to your house and install our equipment. This involves setting a propane tank, running copper lines (if there are none already on the property) and hooking up 1 or more regulators. We will then perform a full system check to ensure integrity of the entire propane system.
